Oldman is probably best at changing characterNicholson is a great performer. He knows how to show up for a role. And he's a master at it. But I don't think he's the best actor out there. He tends to play himself and he's great at it. But he's no Gary Oldman or DDL who can change so many different accents. Can physically change their mannerisms as well. There just chameleons.

Now reverse it and think about Oldman and DDL in Nicholson roles. SHINING? Sure. But what about AS GOOD AS IT GETS? Or the cameo in A FEW GOOD MEN? Can you see Oldman in CHINATOWN? Can you see them a comedy about normal modern people?
