No there arent if you read mynother thread on him he is definitely in another category. Guy is WORLD ranked striker who has been training mma for past 8 years and. Is finally only training mma . Guy arguably won glory MW title last year. This is the beginning of something big

K1 level striking?? This isnt 2007 bro. If you paid attention to combat sport other than the UFC you would understand striking in MMA is not in the same realm as the top pure strikers.

The fact with Adesanya is that he is not a strict kickboxer attempting to transition. He has been training mma for years and has finally decided to go mma full time. While he jumped between Kickboxing at the highest level and low tier mma fights he was and is ranked in the top ten in the world pure striking. Now that he is committing to MMA you will see an absolute beast enter the UFC MW division

Yeah, I'm sure if elite strikers like Joe Schilling or Dustin Jacoby came into MMA they'd be taking off heads.

Those guys are directly comparable to Adensaya in terms of accomplishments in kickboxing.

It's amazing that he has had 5 UFC fights in less than a year technically while competing amongst the best

That's unheard of in the UFC. You get a lot of guys that only fight once or twice a year now
