far from it.is he locked in for GOAT HW in your opinion?
How is someone in the running for GOAT in just a few fights?
Dat short/limited memory.
is he locked in for GOAT HW in your opinion?
A few?
If he beats Francis he will have a stellar 12-2 record in the UFC (a record that good at heavyweight and only being finished once is worth more relevant to other weight classes) and the record for most HW title defences, how is that not in the running for the GOAT heavyweight at least in the UFC?
How many other heavyweights have been on as good a run as Stipe if he wins? Not many.
GSP lost to Matt Serra and he's still considered the GOAT.His loss to Struve will always be cited as a reason why he cannot be the GOAT...even if he cleaned out the whole division.
GSP loss to Matt Serra and he's still considered the GOAT.
No.
Werdum still holds that.
If Stipe can beat Cain as well, then he's the GOAT.
yea werdum aint even top 3 imo.You are saying Werdum, who lost to Stipe has a better resume?
Werdum has 5 losses in the UFC, Stipe, Overeem twice (who Stipe also beat), Arlovski (who Stipe also beat) and JDS (again who Stipe also beat).
A win over Cain at his worst and an aging Fedor are Werdum's claim to fame.
Stipe's resume is far better. Does it make him a GOAT contender at HW? Not yet. Beat Ngannou and Cain and then he is the undisputed man.
yea werdum aint even top 3 imo.
fedor cain and the 3rd is either nog or CCWho are your top 3 HWs?
nah a win is a winDepends on how he wins. If he holds him down for 25 mins, he'll probably get booed. If he stands and bangs with Ngannou and gets an impressive KO? He'd certainly be in the conversation...
