He took some big shots from Chop Chop too, but Floyd especially was landing some savage fucking shots/combos in that fight. He basically stopped giving any fucks about his defense at points and just unloaded on Chop Chop instead. Fun fight, both guys had each other hurt but Floyd ended up beating his ass for the most part, iirc.

Floyd would have never been "wild" but he had all the offensive savagery to brawl and still beat the same guys he beat in his career. It might not have been 49 though. He probably wouldve been shopworn and done much sooner.

He was beating Ricky Hatton at his own game before knocking him out. Was out infighting him.

In spots, and it was great when the actual infighting was happening. There was lots of holding, forearms and elbows. So those are there too when he was infighting well, and, probably helped out a lot as well. That's the way it goes when they ref lets you do it.
