Official Trailer for HOUSE OF THE DRAGON Season 2
I'm thinking of giving it one more season but the shows on max seem to be going down in quality with crap like velma I only resubscribed because of the black friday deal which was 2.99 for 6 months. Bookie was kinda meh funny show but not hbo quality the discovery stuff seems to have diluted the max originals which used to be hbo quality.honest question, does anyone really enjoy this series?
Love GOT stories but tough getting pumped up over a story I already know.
Still wish they would of went with that Long Night series focused on Valeriya, children of forest , first men, and og white walkers etc. That series wpuld of been much more interesting as a prequel ............ but maybe would have been more LOTR thsn Got
No DD. Just screwed it up. The long night would have been much better imo than any of the spun offs offered. If not a long night series a Valyeria series at least .That would have been horrible because new writers would have to come up with a brand new story. We already got that in the shit show that was the final seasons of GOT. I'd much rather have faithful adaptations of George R. Martin's work.
One thing different from the books and House of Dragons is the TV series portrays the Greens as the "bad guys" much more than the book.

Only 3 spin offs intrest me.
Long night
Valayeria
Snow
This show should have been 1 season .
Martin cant write everything just get better than DD. The 2 old story lines along with the "sequel " to hopefully fix or make better how it ended.None of those storylines were written by Martin.
Big news has been revealed for the future of House of the Dragon. Shortly ahead of the second season's premiere, it's been revealed that the Game of Thrones spinoff has been renewed.
On Thursday, it was officially announced that House of the Dragon has been renewed for Season 3 on HBO and Max. The announcement comes days ahead of the Season 2 premiere on Sunday, June 16. Francesca Orsi, the executive VP of HBO Programming and Head of HBO Drama Series and Films, addressed the renewal in a statement.
"George, Ryan, and the rest of our incredible executive producers, cast, and crew, have reached new heights with the phenomenal second season of HOUSE OF THE DRAGON," the statement noted. "We are in awe of the dragon-sized effort the entire team has put into the creation of a spectacular Season 2, with a scope and scale that is only rivaled by its heart. We could not be more thrilled to continue the story of House Targaryen and watch this team burn bright again for Season 3.”

Just rewatched season 1. It's honestly much better than I remembered. It does lack those "Holy Crap" moments that GOT had in spades but overall it's pretty solid.
It's just solid. No big "holy shit!" moments(other than maybe the ending), but what a great foundation.Just rewatched season 1. It's honestly much better than I remembered. It does lack those "Holy Crap" moments that GOT had in spades but overall it's pretty solid.

I think my favorite part in the series, is when they go back to visit the king and one of his handlers says something like "His condition has...gotten worse", and the long haired dude gives out the most sarcastic chuckle ever. LOL. It was exactly what I was thinking.
I liked season 1 for the Got nostalgia and the dragons. But it wore a little thin towards end.. around the time they switched the main actresses it went south . Not because they chsnged the cute little girl to a bull butch lesbian but it seemed to coincide with story seeming more forced.honest question, does anyone really enjoy this series?
