Your unhealthy attachment is just your own brain playing tricks on you. If it's no good or is unhealthy, then you're building a fantasy in your head and the girl isn't the person you're pretending you need to be around.

My problem has always been that I don't want to be a dick, so I have to make absolutely sure the girl is no good before I ditch her. I'm fine either way, as long as I know what's what.
