I asked a few weeks back whats happened to Cuban boxing. The talent isn't there anymore.

Not just that. They let them train in Miami. Rigo was here for two fights. He kept going back there and it's "fuck it". No point in trying. You know what's happening.

Gamboa was offensively gifted but never got down the not get hit part of his profession. He could not adjust to a right hand been thrown over and and over again which speaks to his lack of improvement defensively as well. He's done well in his career and was a champion. But its probably time for him to hang the gloves up especially considering his physical gifts have declined with age.
