Heh, I thought the same thing... I'll be VERY surprised if he makes it to the finals. Perhaps well enough to get a spot on the finale.

Or he's just playing shit up.

Could mean a lot of things.. maybe he has a fight in a different organization, or retired and has business obligations.

I wouldn't read too much into it, although he seems like a nice guy and would be cool if he did well.
