PBP Free Live HD Stream: ONE Friday Fights 50: 'Yodphupa vs. Komawut' (2/2, 7:30 a.m. ET)

Do we have any MMA lined up for tonight? @Kryptt

There's BKFC tonight.

PBP thread:

Forgive Carlo Bumina-ang if he gives off runaway freight train vibes in the ONE Championship bantamweight division.

The 29-year-old unbeaten Team Lakay MMA prospect on Friday choked Zhipeng Xie unconscious with an arm-triangle in the first round of their ONE Friday Fights 50 showcase at historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Xie (3-1, 0-1 ONE) lost his grip on reality 1:29 into Round 1.

Bumina-ang (4-0, 4-0 ONE) was off to the proverbial races after he decked the Sunkin International Fight Club rep with a counter right hand inside the first 10 seconds. Xie staggered back to a standing position after being threatened with a guillotine, only to be dropped a second time with a clean left hook. Bumina-ang took top position with heavy ground-and-pound—elbows, knees and standing-to-ground punches worked together in perfect harmony—and framed the fight-ending choke. Squeeze and technique did the rest.

Meanwhile, Raqobat prospect Avazbek Kholmirzaev dazzled in his promotional debut, as he put away Leandro Gomes with a guillotine choke in the first round of their flyweight affair. Gomes (5-2, 1-1 ONE) conceded defeat 4:40 into Round 1, suffering his first setback since May 2021.

Kholmirzaev (5-1, 1-0 ONE) withstood a few takedowns from his Portuguese counterpart, jockeyed effectively in the clinch and waited for an opportunity to present itself. He rolled into top position after being grounded with roughly a minute to go in the first round, caught the guillotine and moved to mount. It soon became clear there was no escape for the bottled-up Gomes.

The 23-year-old Kholmirzaev has rattled off four straight wins, all of them finishes.

In muay thai action, Komawut FA Group eked out a split decision over Yodphupa Wimanair in their 143-pound catchweight main event; Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree cast aside Kongklai Annymuaythai with punches and elbows 55 seconds into the third round their catchweight co-headliner at 140 pounds; Petsaenchai M U Den KhonmaiBaowee cut down Petdam Petkiatpet with a left hook 2:31 into the first round of their 134-pound catchweight tilt; Chokpreecha PK Saenchai swept the scorecards to a unanimous decision against Suesat Manop Gym in a three-round strawweight feature; Win Sitjanim disposed of Mowgli Chor Ajalaboon with punches 1:15 into the second round of their 127-pound catchweight attraction; Lamsing Sor Dechapan earned a unanimous decision over Mawin Soonkelahuaitom in a three-round catchweight altercation at 128 pounds; Ricardo Bravo wiped out Kenan Bayramov with a sweeping left hook 30 seconds into the first round of their 161-pound catchweight encounter; Parham Gheirati was awarded split scorecards against Peemai Por Kobkuea in a three-round bantamweight confrontation; Chabakaew Sor KanJanchai laid claim to a unanimous verdict over Rebecca Watford in their three-round women’s atomweight battle; and Petpalangchai Por Jaroenpat took a unanimous decision from Shogo Kuriaki in their three-round catchweight clash at 132 pounds.

Another solid card. Thanks everyone for hanging out! 🫶
