Hi everyone my name is Adnan and I'm one of the owners of Fortis. Fortis is a premium brand known for making boxing equipment and fight gear. We specialise in our own range of luxury boxing gloves, head guards, mitts, focus pads and groin guards while also making top of the range apparel. We also make a whole range of custom boxing equipment

Our gloves are crafted using the finest quality full grain goat skin leather. The gloves are meticulously hand crafted only with the quality stitching making them ultra-durable.

We use multiple layer foam padding to protect the knuckles and use a double strap dual enclosure to make sure the wrists are extra secure. They have a special fabric inside while making them extra comfortable they also help dry up any sweat or moisture.

We are about to launch our new stunning Fortis Renegade boxing gloves soon.

Screen Printing needs work as well as the overall design.

Good luck and best wishes, however.

Are they made in Pakistan? or the UK?

Obviously made in pakistan...

{<diva} . Who else besides FLY sports makes gloves in the UK ??

I was going to say just Pakistan but they could be made in the UK. If they were UK made I'd expect the quality to be a bit better than what they have in the pictures. They look like generic winning clones that are mass produced by hundreds of Pak companies. I'm surprised they didn't just get Grant clones to separate them a bit from the pack.

They look nothing like winning clones IMO. Looks like a generic glove pattern done with custom colors and mediocre screen printing.

The custom gear market is way over saturated right now.

Looks like they had 3 glove patterns and they just picked all three. One looks like a Twins glove. One to me looks like a winning and one looks like someone got confused and merged the two.

Looks like your run of the mill Pakistani glove. Just another “brand” that slaps a cheap logo on and calls themselves a custom glove maker. Too many of these guys saturating the market now from social media to EBay with all the Pakistani copy cat winning and grant ripoffs.

With all due respect you shouldn't knock something you haven't used or tried before. The pictures actually don't do our gloves justice. We are a relatively new up and coming UK based company and we do pride ourselves in making top quality gloves and boxing equipment instead of just "copying" other brands.

Honestly Adnan, many of us on the forums have seen dozens of these sorts of gloves come and go. With boxing, the eye test will always be employed. It's very clear that these gloves were probably produced by the mass producers. You've added the logo and color design, but the gloves themselves do not look any different than what is already out there, and honestly, they don't look good in terms of design.

It feels like you're selling a brand more than a glove, and there are plenty brands out there. Whether you're aware of it or not, the general design of glove being presented will not succeed in the marketplace.

I am curious, what is the starting price point for your custom gloves? Most people here are familiar with TopBoxer and UMA ( which I am a big fan of) so I would like to know how you compare.

The point is that your product exhibits all the appearances of being just another overpriced Pakistani or Chinese clone.

Furthermore, despite this observation - which is quite valid - you have given us absolutely no good reason to believe that the appearances are misleading.

The argument based on the sentiment "don't knock it until you've tried it" is inadequate and simply appalling in the present context, especially given the price of your gear.

The best way to get your brand out is to send someone from the forum who does reviews a sample pair and get them to write a review. It would be rare for many to buy a brand they've never heard of with no reviews to look at.

I think the best route for startup companies like this is to supply their local gyms first. Because guys who go to these gyms will just buy a combination of what other gym members use plus what is most convenient. (Once you've done that you can take nice pictures and put them up on your IG account to make them look legit.)

If you want to hit the broader market, you either have to offer ridiculously competitive prices for a relatively decent product, or you have to offer an overwhelmingly good product at a semi-reasonable price. Lacking one or the other, it is probably not prudent to post in a gear forum. But if you really believe that you have an excellent product (more than the other options that have come and gone—and others that still perdure), then that should be reflected in a review, which I understand is forthcoming. To be truthful, prospects are not promising. But there is always the possibility that you are the one exception to all the gear companies that have come and gone through these parts. Not likely, but nevertheless possible.

But they are are made in Pakistan correct?

There actually is one other glove manufacturer that I know of that produces in the UK...Tailor Made Boxing (TMB)....at least that is what they told me when I asked them. You can look them up on Instagram and Facebook.
