Fact: Anderson Silva has the best highlights in MMA history (video)

the magic show ended here

chris-weidman-anderson-silva-knockout-gif.gif

Nah, he had the uncalled KO over Bisping after that and a pretty solid 4th round to boot with a lovely boot to the face.

People crapping on Silva's competition for years which boggles my mind because Rich Franklin x2, Dan Handerson, Nate Marquart, Vitor Belfort, Yushin Okami, and Chael x2 all in their primes were incredible wins during that era. You cant take any of that away from him and he also finished all of them in spectacular fashion.

Crazy how much of a killing instinct prime Anderson Silva had.

You can feel how happy Joe and Mike were when calling his fights. The Spider was truly special, will we ever see someone with that kind of finishing prowess in title fights?

You say fact, and then you state your opinion. You are a fucking genius, aren't you?

I feel like Lesnar wants to fight Jon Jones. It is the bigger fight to make (Jones is a draw, DC isn't)

You can come up with a hundred Anderson Silva highlights and not 1 can equal this.

Yoel does.

Against much better competition at that.

And guess what Yoel Romero said

“It’s not personal, between me and Anderson, it’s for me, because Anderson is the best of all time in MMA. I have big respect for him. If you stay in the middleweight division and you don’t fight with the top 10 people, you won’t understand what exactly is your level. If you really want to know what is your level, you have to fight with Anderson Silva.”

Is normal

LOL he was never a contender, therefore a journeyman.
ok, you and you guys @Perrichet @ThunderStruck
are really something...

Y´all have never watched his fights, have absolutely no clue about the context of these fights, and still keep talkin´ about this fighter jus´to fulfill your agenda here (ie bashing Silva).

Takase was a WW, fightin´mostly at OPENWEIGHT, historically against much bigger opponents.
Some of his losses:

Jeremy Horn (LHW)
Nate Marquardt (MW)
Rodrigo Gracie (MW)
Hector Lombard (MW)

As u can see, MWs or even LHW

takase 1.png

Put ur fav. WWs against MWs & LHWs and lets see the result, put ur No Rush against LHWs and lets see the results.

Takase had wins over Spider, Mach, Ronin: great wins.

The finish over Spider was a slick, smooth transition from a straight armbar to a triangle choke.

A journeyman is, by definition, someone decent without any real outstanding win or skillset.
Takase had legit grappling, and at least, 3 Great Wins.

Was he a potential GOAT or potential Champ? No.
Was he a good fighter? See the facts.

Get a clue.

You really are something.

Takase had a losing record of (4-7) when he tapped out Anderson. He never amounted to anything, classic journeyman. And to make it was he was a WW. Diabolical loss for Anderoid.

Yet to you guys someone like Serra is a journeyman.

Obviously your definition of a journeyman is bizarre to say the least

please dude, you didnt even know Takase was a WW until I gave you the info. This is some very basic info
about a fighter.

The only Takase fight you watched is [maybe] the Spider one (for sure the HL).

So, watch the fights, then come back here. Dont waste our time.

Actually I did, I simply grouped him with Takase who was a LW (another small fighter Anderson got tapped out by)

No need to watch all of his fights. His career speaks for itself. A classic journeyman fighter.

Keep trying to convince yourself otherwise.

"No need to watch all of his fights"

You´re ridiculous,lmao...

You watched only ONE! lmao

Takase is a classic journeyman. Watching all his fights isnt going to mysteriously change that.

It’s not that difficult to grasp

OK, dude..

Takase was not a WW, he was a LW as you said, and a journeyman.
He never beat fair and square Mach & Ronin, too.

Keep up with the good work, dude..
