It's pretty good idea, but yeah, it's seems like it would be a little bit to loud to use it my room.

Id like to try it especially since I don't have room to put a normal speedbag platform up at my house. Was about to buy it then I saw shipping to where I was is $80-$100 smh

Guess it depends on the construction of your house, but it doesn't sound that bad in this video.

Yeah the company says that the backboard is rock solid and does not bounce

Portable is right, but it would barely fit into my suitcase so i don't think its reasonable for travel.
