Fuck that. Neither guy is in a deserving position to be there. At least Driscus is a MW, but he also went life and death with the ghost of Derrick Brunson. Let them fight, but not for a title shot.

Don’t kill off one of your few young prospects in that division by making two of them fight.
Give DDP somebody like Vetori and give Khamzat / Costa a go. If Khamzat wins, title shot. If DDP wins, give him a shot too.
