Do you put stuff in their correct folders on your computer?

Do you put stuff in their correct folders on your computer? Photos in the photo folder, documents in the document folder, videos in the video folder, etc?

I never have and i was on a relatives computer and they were using every pre-made folder. I know that is probably the most logical thing to do but i never put anything in their correct place...... life isnt that simple lol

I tend to put everything on the desktop or in the documents folder.

For instance, I have a folder for videos inside the documents folder. I was admittedly worried that might break the computer but I decided to risk it anyway.

The exception is music. Music goes in the music folder because I know that's where Media Player looks for it to index it.

i only do that with important files on both my work and home computer. i work in i.t., and the last thing i want to do when i'm at home, is more i.t. stuff lol.

lol. at work once, after a guy who had left his job had turned in his computer, i found a folder simply called, ".", that had all kinds of crazy porn. usually, us i.t. guys are supposed to report this kind of stuff. but if anything, we just laugh our assess off and copy...er, i mean delete the folder.

I pretty much don't have any files on my home computer. Except for games in the steam file.

On my work computer everything is in created folders on the documents folder. Mostly broken down by customer folders and all their documents in there.
