Hello. I'm here to not talk about Mike Perry. Isn't that refreshing?
So there I was, reading Sherdog's Top 10 MMA movies list. In the advertisements below it, it had a link to an article about MMA fighters who had done some disturbing crimes, and I read Mike Whitehead's entry:

Anyway, while police were there to arrest him for the sexual assault thing, they found either 40 pot plants or 50 pot plants, depending on if you believe Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Whitehead) or USA Today (https://usatoday30.usatoday.com/spo...Mike-Whitehead-sentenced-to-prison/52680698/1).
In the sentencing for his sexual assault case, it says that he asked for leniency in part because of his pending drug case about the marijuana plants. The wikipedia page says that the police got warrants for the plants and destroyed them, indicating that the charges were presumably not dropped.
But 3 years after the jail time for the sex thing, he fought MMA again.
I googled and couldn't find anything about the court case on the pot plants. Some sources say "potential drug charges" like there's a potential the police were gonna forget about them. After all, he had four charges from the sex thing, and only had to admit to one.
The wikipedia paragraph that mentions this cites a full five different sources, none of which say if he ever got charged, nor do any of them even say that the police got warrants for the plants, so that part could just be made up.
