Never really knew Morrison other than Rocky 5. But this documentary shows how strange of a guy Morrison was. Dude was a polygamist funny both of the wives had the same name Dawn.

I knew him for getting wrecked by Michael bentt first. The 30for 30 is presumably about his hiv?
 
Its probably interesting....very strange dude from what i understand

Reallllly disappointing in terms of his career. People had some pretty lofty hopes for the guy
 
no ididn't, i didn't know about it, it's worth a watch. Morrison could arguably be called the first native american heavyweight champ, if you count the insignificant wbo title, which most people don't. Guy was a mess, was very smart, particularly about boxing. Had a poor chin which ruined his chances at the top guys and made him vulnerable to pretty much anyone. Great heart, great handspeed, great left hook. I was just thinking about him today, i watched a docu on HIV which called it a myth, he seemed to believe that and foolishly paid for it with his life. The docu stated that HIV wasn't a cause of aids, which seems to be possible, I don't think we've been told the truth about AIDS, the overall biggest point is, the people who "contract aids" usually have very battered immune systems from their lifestyles. It's still a mystery how some guys like Eazy E, Magic and Morrison got the virus, and in magic's case they say he's been undetectable for awhile. but anyway, they always said it's near impossible to get the virus from a woman who has it..

Bentt slammed him after Ray mercer gave us one of the more brutal kayoes of the era as that fuckup of a ref, tony perez stood there watching.
 
If you never knew why Ray Mercer deserved his nickname, google that Morrison finish.

they go into the john wayne thing, i think most people assumed it was a marketing ploy, they said no one ever looked into it. all kinds of stories of morrison, most of them negative, still an interesting story.

What? Magic Johnson was fucking porn stars. I don't think its a mystery how he got HIV.
 
magic was also bi i think, there was a gay randb singer who was going to out him but he died of aids before he could.
