Was recently watching Blade Runner again and realized how awkward the love scene is between Rachel and Deckard. From the sexy jazz sax that's playing in the background, to the somewhat rapey dialogue that occurs after Deckard stops Rachel from leaving the apartment, it's just a scene that screams bathroom break or fast forward in an otherwise fantastic movie.

Another scene that I instantly think of is the flying scene from the 1977 Superman movie. It's not really that bad until Lois starts giving an inner monologue half way through the scene, that's when I start shaking my head and trying to hold back my laughter.

So what are some other cringe worthy scenes from movies that you otherwise enjoy?

They Live overly long fight scene was so bad that it was great

That scene where one Ewok gets killed and his buddy tries to wake him up does hit me in the feels I must admit.

Lord of the Rings when Pippin grabs the Palantir. Technically & artistically speaking Lord of the Rings is an amazing movie and for some reason in this scene they decide to use a slow shutter speed as an effect. It's the cheesiest camera work i've seen in an otherwise amazing film. I could never understand how this made the final edit. The scene looks completely out of place in a 280 million dollar movie. Shit it would look out of place in a $280 short made by film students.

Almost ruined the movie for me.

When, in the Fellowship of the Ring, they tried to add a modern touch by the dwarf saying "you never toss a dwarf!", and especially when the elf went down the stairs like he was surfing on his shield or whatever it was, that gave me douche chills in an otherwise amazing movie.

When Christian Bale busts out the batman voice for the first time. I laughed hard.

Not a movie but this reminded me of the time Joe Rogan told Freeway Rick Ross about a dream he had about Arnold Schwarzenegger swimming around with his dick hanging out. That was awkward as fuck.

Ending to Law Abiding Citizen.

OMG yes, that fucking movie. The ending flew in the face of everything that had happened prior. How does Butler's character not have some kind of back-up plan in place just in case the bomb was found? Seemed like such a huge oversight for a guy that had so thoroughly planned ahead and was constantly out-maneuvering the feds. Terrible, terrible ending to an otherwise very entertaining movie.

Have you ever tried to sit through some of the drek between porn scenes? I mean as if.

The damn kid being overly annoying at the end of Shane

I can look past Tarantino's acting in his movies for the most part, but his coffee scene in Pulp Fiction bothers me
