Not the original version, but another band's rendition of that song. But you all know what cover songs are, right?
The cover doesn't have to be *better* than the original.

Two more for good measure. And yes, I enjoy the band Orgy, they're my 90's guilty pleasure.

In my opinion this is one of the best covers ever.

I like the entire Tribute To The Gods album, but this one is particularly good.

I love that album. I miss Matt Barlow. Stu is good but he just doesn't have the same magic.

The original is better, but the cover was terrific too.

Took a heavy metal classic and made it their own.

These are a few of my favorites by the Clash.

That slip inside cover is wild.
    Great party song.

    Rocky Erikson would probably
    approve, even.

Yeah, no doubt he would dig it. My introduction to his music was Where The Pyramid Meets The Eye: A Tribute to Roky Erickson. I think I bought it because the Butthole Surfers had a song on there. Ended up tracking down a bunch of Erickson's stuff

Right in. Gotta check the comp.
    Never heard of it before.
Got a few bands I like on there.

Best comp album would be a
    good thread idea, imo

My intro to 13th floor elevators
was their song in High Fidelity
    "You're gonna miss me baby"
    Immediately was a fan.
I was going through a big
    stooges phase during the time
    too. Was very suitable
