Conor McGregor failed to turn up in court over the issue of multiple speeding fines. McGregor didn’t show for the hearing regarding four summonses, one for speeding and three for committing driving licence offences.
Judge Desmond Zaidan, Naas District Court, said the ‘Notorious’ has to make an appearance at court next week. Sergeant Jim Kelly confirmed that summonses have been served on McGregor in person.
Judge Zaidan said: "I won't ask why he is not here but the onus was on the defence solicitor to inform his client to turn up for the hearing. If it is contested I won't hear the case in absentia (in the absence of Mr McGregor)".
