How does he not have a choice to fight Khabib here? He's got $100M in the bank, has already been LW champ before, and doesn't have the belt anymore so doesn't need to defend against who would otherwise be his top contender. There is literally nothing compelling him to fight Khabib. Yet he is anyways.

He also agreed to fight Frankie earlier this very year so you're wrong on that front too.

And lol at calling Khabib, Ferguson, and Frankie the "real competition". What does that make Aldo, who he chased for other a year then?
