Conor fans talking trash about Khabib

Conor fans are a mixture of casuals, newbies and trolls. What do you expect?

Anyway i like what he brings to the table. With love or hate, everyone here want to see him fight all the goods fws and lws.

Conor also went on a huge winning streak. He also won a belt. He also made it look easy in most of his fights, including when he fought for the belt. And he also lost only 1 round in all of those fights.

Khabib has 1 win against a top fighter and he barely fights. So for you to say that Conor isn't great, and that Khabib is, It's kinda of funny. You're just a hater.

Plenty of delusion here.

There are many Conor fans on this board who have been passionate MMA fans for years. Know why? It's because Conor is in good fights. They're simple fights, so casuals can get into them too, but that hardly means Conor's fanbase is exclusively casual.

Conor is also not a product of circumstance, unless you mean the circumstances he created by jawing endlessly and then knocking people out. He was losing to Mendes until he won? On scorecards, sure, but both guys were getting hit and Conor was getting the better of most exchanges and got the better of Money in the end. Notice Mendes not protesting the stoppage? That's because Conor rang his bell pretty hard.

Pushed him over? HA! <41>
 
Big fan of both, Khabib is a tough fight. Then again, so if Conor.

Khabib will beat Eddie Conor won't it's as simple as that. Conor won't even be able to defend is FW belt successfully. Let's av bet or something so you can't go hide once Eddie makes him look like an amateur.

How do you expect to him protest when he's gassed out? He got time to cut weight and fight and was still whoopin Conor. It's not hard to come to the conclusion that had he had a camp and gas the fight would have ended entirely different. Instead it was another instance of the luck of the Irish. P4P luckiest fighter to ever do it.
 
Khabib definitely has the capability to maul Conor but Conor's laser guided left and precision in general is no joke, although he has shown himself to be susceptible to being taken down, and Khabib is a monster. I'd certainly favor Khabib but Conor could put it to him.

Khabib's biggest win is RDA years ago, he still has a lot to prove.
 
How the hell is the wrestler still even ranked after 2.5 years of nothing?

he is a very good counter puncher but we all know he wasn't tested (that is until the diaz fight) in FW. yes he ko aldo but that's was more of the mind games he played against him. in his record most of teh guys he fought were strikers not counting mendes; that was a 2 weeks notice fight.

it's very amazing how you zealots overstates the abilities of irish jabroni, he is very good but he is not the mma god most people think he is

He needed more camp and skin cream and then he'd have won? Get out of here with that. He didn't protest because he'd just been rocked hard.
 
Im a fan of Khabib and Conor but Khabib would easily beat him.

By this logic why do fighters have camps then if they make no difference? May as well start pulling people off the street, to hell with training and preparation.

Conor had no real preparation time for Chad either. It works both ways.
 
IMO Khabib would beat Conor badly. Many McHuggers were not around MMA in the age of Ground and Pound. It would look like one of those 2005 fights with one guy gorilla hammering the other to death.

He still had a full camp to get in shape, get his timing down, and drill. By his own admission at this time he didn't train opponent specific so why would it matter who he fought. The idea that someone with a full training camp simply switching opponents is somehow equal to a person learning they have a fight and having only enough time to cut weight and get to Vegas is absolutely ludicrous. I expect better from a 2011 11K+ post gentleman.

Conor is great, and so are most of his recent opponents. And he is making those great fighters look bad.

And that short notice excuse is weak. Rockhold got beat by a short notice fighter in his last fight. A lot of fighters look bad or lose when they take those fights. Conor lost to Nate when it was short notice and beat him when he had time to train for him.
