Dipset! Black ops, lets do it.

This is that get crunk move bitch. Get drunk, stupid.

Wild times those few years. Turned 21, lived overseas for a semester, lost my mother, met my future wife. That was also about the tail-end of the best roughly 5 year run of hip hop being produced

I should die now. I think it's at the end of the movie or smthg that there's an s2000 tho, I can't be that fucking bad memory-wise

These is a pink S2000 in 2f2f in not sure it was out yet when the first movie dropped.

the good ol days was pre 2000. after 2000 we had 9/11. american kids these days don't know a life w/o terrorism and warmongering.

life was better w/o social media too. sure, we had that garbage myspace but people werent glued to their phones trying to self validate themselves with their online persona.

downloading music from limewire was the thing but risked infecting your computer with AIDs

I have mixed memories of 2000-2003. 9/11 was a mother fucker.....

MMA was pretty cool then. In 2000 got my hands on a vhs Japanese bootleg of Pride Grand Prix Opening round because I heard Gracie lost. I had no idea wtf Pride was but I was blown away by it. I got to see a UFC a couple years later live and that was interesting back then because UFC was commercialized back then like now. The best way I could describe the shows were that they had the feeling of local shows back then but on a much grander scale because there were so many different gyms that would show up in attendance.

This was really the years when the internet became mainstream and these things called "forums" were popping up left and right. Internet porn was king then and people were making a killing at selling it since tube sites weren't a thing and most people were still to dumb to know how to pirate movies. This was the grand collapse of the music industry as well. Album sales were at a U.S. all time high in 2000 and they went down every year from there.

I was balls deep in FPS gaming on the PC. This was the era of clans for FPS and MTV did a spot about Fatal1ty who was the Tiger Woods of FPS.

Car racing became mainstream as well because of the Fast and the Furious. I attended some underground street races a year before that movie came out. What a clusterfuck of people who started coming out when that movie came out. Cat was out of the bag at that point.

TV wise Family Guy was the cartoon I thought was the funniest thing rivaling the best Simpsons yet no one gave a shit about it. 24 was good....Also this show...RIP

Does anyone remember iWon.com?

It was my primary e-mail and search engine for a short time. I also hit up the chat rooms from time to time (those were a thing back then). I never won shit though.

I like to think back to the mid 2000's when the Mayberry had actual meaningful, thought provoking threads and not OT bullshit like being in love with Brie Larson.
