do we have any? i know back n early mid 90s they had sambo wrestling tournaments i was watching some combat sambo matches just now and now i know why the russians are doing so well now its the experience man idk why this isnt more popular in usa or a amateur mma league type thing

id love to see that grow in the states so guys can go compete and not worry about getting hurt badly thats how guys are gonna grow in the future through that experience

Sambo started by Russian wrestlers traveling to Japan, absorbing everything they could and returning home...

American MMA started by the Gracie's slick promotions gimmick...

Sambo in the United States has been wrecked by mismanagement. In the 80s it featured top wrestlers.

usa needs something like point karate has for guys who gain experience and not full on fighting each other
