I think a rematch with Cruz (unless he retires) makes more sense. Figgy doesn’t appear to have lost a step.

Hot take: Cody may even match up better against Sandhangen—even though I’d pick Sandhagen over Figgy. Obviously the rankings don’t support this match-up, but at least Cody is faster than Sandhagen with decent takedown defence. Figgy’s just as quick and just as powerful.
