I don't think very many here know what vertigo is. For starters, it's not a permanent thing. Second, it's not something that has a definitive test. You tell the Dr things are spinning, and he diagnoses you with vertigo. That's it. "Go home and rest, it will pass" is the direction from the Dr. I've had vertigo a couple times, it sucks but it's temporary but also isn't something that can be proven, or disproven.
It's difficult to say when you have Vertigo."I wasn't the better man on the night of the fight"
Why is that so hard?
Nice dumb, derail. It's the opposite of what Michael Jackson had
As well as becoming truly established as a gate keeper, this is not good at all health wise, and potentially a sign of danger if he keeps getting hit in the head sparring or fighting.Cody Garbrandt says bout of vertigo affected him in loss to Deiveson Figueireo at UFC 300

Apparently it hit as soon as the fight went to the ground and lasted the rest of the night. Thoughts?
I understand this reference!!It's the opposite of what Michael Jackson had
Finally!I understand this reference!!
You should file for disability & then post on sherdog more.a bad mma fighter happens to also have vertigo, contributing to his overall badness. I'm going to start using this excuse at work
Why do any interviews if you aren't allowed to say what you want and you have to give stock answers to please people."I wasn't the better man on the night of the fight"
Why is that so hard?
This is an epic post. You should file for disability & then post on sherdog more.
word. Fucked if you do, fucked if you don't.Why do any interviews if you aren't allowed to say what you want and you have to give stock answers to please people.
I had it once for a few months and it never came back thank god
The thing is he might have actually had vertigo. Is he not allowed to tell the truth? Do fans have to be that sensitive?word. Fucked if you do, fucked if you don't.
Recently I heard Gaethje say he did 80 interviews during fight week, like, holy fuck.
Me too, super scary shit. Mine was only weeks.
I missed it (the fight )The thing is he might have actually had vertigo. Is he not allowed to tell the truth? Do fans have to be that sensitive?
Now if you think the notorious Figgy smalls is better than him and would beat him wether he had vertigo or not is up to any individual and they should just go about their day.
But I really hate this viewpoint that people aren't allowed to tell the truth or what they believe to be the truth, within reason. Obviously jamahal hill was knocked out and Anthony Smith's viewpoints are in bizzaro world...
But I take Cody's word for it even if I do think Figgy is the better fighter. It was a good fight.
