relatively good athlete, wrestling background, can take a punch, good punching power, comfortable in exchanges. he'd be borderline top5 today, back then that was one hell of a skillset. but when he lost the ability to take a punch, his whole game crumbled because his defense was always terrible.
 
Still sloppy and wild. Notice the wind up and opposite hand dropping. All power and no technique. If he miss, he will lose balance and overextend. Or block left with a counter right hook cuz he drops his left hand everytime. With that kind of wind up, you can see it coming from a mile away. In fact, he drops the hand BEFORE throwing the right. So you can time it and clip him BEFORE he throws it.

With that said, he would still knock me out.

That would be more applicable if he were throwing punches, not elbows.

One of the few technical clean parts of chuck liddell was his footwork
 
Sure he might be able to punch pretty hard but it's kinda hard not to notice the physical deterioration from all the trauma he's received over his career.

Kind of puts things into perspective.

he also outstruck prime pele in a bareknuckle who was considered to be the best striker at chute boxe for a time

also outstruck guy mezger who was a good striker

also had a 22-2 pro kickboxing record

pretty good for "no technique" like jabronis ITT are saying
 
Brawler ?! what brawler ?! That guy used to have great footwork, composure, timing and his right hand was a nightmare. You cant find brawlers with those skills, not even on playstation !
Plus his walkout song is still one of the GOATs. :)
