I think having an ongoing sexual attraction to young children is a form of sexual orientation. Acknowledging this can help distinguish having this preference from acts of child abuse. I do not believe there is a correlation between accessing stuff like child porn and committing sexual offenses. Simply giving people access to sex dolls is not likely to increase the risk of them committing a sexual offense in the future.
