Change one fight outcome for a butterfly effect

I would like to have seen what would have happened if Jimmerson one punch KO’d Gracie

Shamrock would have beaten him and become the first UFC champ. Then they would send Rickson to fight Shamrock.

I understand.
But that was the beginning of the end for SF.
If Fedor did not lose to Werdum, and then proceeded to win the tourney, SF would be alive today.

Yeah... if he won those fights/tourney he could maybe be in the discussion for GOAT as well, maybe. Never happened though.

I expected it earlier!
Biggest butterfly effect ever:

Art Jimmerson KOs Royce Gracie - boxing reigns supreme
or
Minoki Ichihara KOs Royce Gracie - Karate master race

True.
He is already the goat, but if he won those fights, there would not be even a discussion... I agree.

Big Rigg doesn't get robbed against GSP. Johnny wouldn't have a breakdown and lose all his talents overnight. T-Wood hopefully never becomes champ.

Here's a much more complex one:

The year is 1917. Mitsuyo Maeda demonstrates a Judo throw to Carlos Gracie and by some horrific accident and incredible misfortune drops Carlos on his head, breaking his neck. Carlos dies on the spot. Maeda is charged with manslaughter and is sentenced to lifetime in prison. Gracies never learn Judo, never develop GJJ, never create the UFC and modern MMA is never born. The closest things to MMA are Japan's Pancrase and Brazil's Vale Tudo, which are both viewed in USA and Europe as some obscure barbaric sports. Neither gains worldwide popularity.

Brock never gets diverticulitis, beats Cain and Overeem, therefore doesnt leave UFC, still champ pulling 1mil+ every PPV, fertitas therefore dont want to sell, therefore no USDA and no Ronda/WMMA cash grab, johnny hendricks still champ

Penn beats Edgar. Frankie drops to the newly made FW division and earns a title shot against Aldo, getting beat. Frankie becomes a wily veteran who is still fighting to get another crack at the belt, but was never champ. Gray Maynard never gets a title shot because he won't fight Penn. BJ defends against Dennis Siver and/or G-Sot, eventually setting up a fight with Bendo and/or Melendez and/or Alvarez for undisputed lightweight supremacy.

Crocop crocops Gonzaga instead of getting crocopped himself. Fights Randy, lhk cemetery's him. Fedor's signs to chase after Crocop and the UFC gold instead of wasting his prime(preventing the Werdum loss). Crocop tko's Fedor due to cut. Rubbermatch. Fedor wins by UD becoming the new champ. Lesnar comes along after fighting Heath. Instead of Randy, he faces Fedor, gets tko'd. Crocop loses to Carwin. Carwin vs Fedor, Fedor beats him. Crocop is given Kimbo to get a shot again against Fedor. Kills Kimbo but got injured. Mir enters the picture after submitting Nog. Gets murked by Fedor. Crocop/Nog 2. Crocop wins by UD. Gets a rematch against Carwin. Carwin can't cut too much height and collapses. Etc, etc.

RR winning against HH setting up the super fight with cain so we could finally see what circumstances she was talking about when she said she could beat him

Ronda KO's Holm with the first punch she throws.

Just for shits and giggles really

In 1991 Desafio hosts a Jiu-Jitsu vs Luta Livre card that has three representatives of Brazilian jiu-jitsu up against three representatives of Luta Livre - like it really happened - but this time Luta Livre wins all 3 fights.

BJJ falls into obscurity, Luta Livre becomes the modern MMA.

forrest griffin submits stephan bonnar or vice versa in under 2 minutes after an immediate takedown

If dos anjos hadn't pulled out Conor may have never ever fought or lost to nate let alone be talking about the third

Marcus Brimage KO's Conor in 1st round
