The reason Cain has been out so long has not been injuries. Hes been healthy since Jan 2018. He hasnt been able to reach a new deal with the UFC, but hopefully this post means they worked it out.

I really hope Cain comes back in good form. The UFC desperately needs him and he's always awesome to watch (when he can make it to the cage)

For a 36yo he doesn't exactly have a lot of mileage with only 16 pro MMA fights, and given his training ethic I don't think it's unrealistic to expect a GSP-tier rehab from his previous injuries
