Yes, DuQuesnoy stated after his last fight (Against Brendan Loughnane) that win, lose or draw he was heading down to Bantamweight which has always been the plan. Should be fireworks.

Yep, hes been around for years too. As he's Welsh, I kept tabs on him for a while but he didn't really amount to anything.



As for the poster who mentioned Ryan Scope, I was wondering about him and Walter Gahadza the other day, what happened to those two??
 
They need to book "The White Mike Tyson" vs "Beastin' 25/8" in a battle of the worst nicknames in MMA history.

Is that spike uk or is this on spike tv in America.
 
Its Spike UK. Walter Gahadzha is returning after having surgery on a longterm arm/shoulder injury. Ryan Scope was due to return from a break from MMA last year but got re-injured and hasn't fought since. Shame really Scope could have been the next big thing from the UK.

Also John Phillips Vs. James Zikic from BAMMA 4 was released on the BAMMA YouTube channel for the first time officially yesterday

Bit of a meh card imo compared to BAMMA's usual cards.

Good to see Duquesnoy defend his title, even if it is against a guy that lost his last fight and has won just 3 of his last 7 :S
Kone & Phillips should be a fun stand up battle, and Bola & Byrne should be decent.

Nothing else really excites me. The last couple of events have had 8 or 9 really solid fights.
 
DuQuesnoy isn't defending his title. He's moved down to Bantamweight and Rooney has moved up from Fly. Hughes/Kavanagh will be a standup war and Fields/DeVent will be a fight and half. Decky Dalton's return is not one to sleep on either.
