Are you allowed to scream in your opponents ears?

No you can only lick their ears. Very big difference

Seems like a good way to get out of a clinch/grappling exchange..

If Barboza had screamed and showed Khabib the power of his thu'um, he could have gotten up and KO'd him.

Matt Hammil says bring it on.

What about sticking your tongue in your opponents ear.

I mean, you can if you're into that sort of stuff. But screaming.. the power of the voice.. that's been around before the dawn of man.

I like the way you think. Got that dirty-sleezebag-eyegouge-street-fighting creativity.

Gun shot is 120 dB?!?

A jet engine is 110 dB?!?! <Lmaoo>

Maybe from a half mile away ...

Humans have the ability to scream at a threshold of about 100 dbs, a gun shot releases about 120dbs, and a jet engine about 110.

Stay screaming, my friend.

Could be deemed non-sportsman like. Ref could issue a warning/foul.

Reminds of that boxer who pretend to be KO'd and jumped to his feet at 8, but the ref called it off anyways.

so TS returned home drunk after a saturday night and posted a new thread

Everyone's mocking this thread but it's a legit interesting question.

Imagine a fighter suddenly stops a takedown and winces in pain over the opponent having screamed at full volume directly into his ear.
What would the ref do?

My guess is it would fall under som general unsportsmanlike conduct (together with stuff like spitting, licking, etc)
