I honestly feel like we lose either way, just how I felt in the last presidential election. Khabib pulls out of fights, only intends on fighting twice a year, his style can be boring at times, his striking is painful to watch, and he has no swag. And McGregor is cringy, is becoming another Jon Jones in his personal life, won’t defend the 155 belt if he wins it back (especially if he’s incarcerated), and brings in some of the douchiest fans I’ve ever seen in the sport.

He’s annoying, doesn’t fight much, got the shit kicked out of him against Mayweather, (still) has the worst fans in mma.

But something about the Khabib nut-huggers bothers me. He’s got one or two elite wins and his fans treat him as the greatest to ever do it. He’s a decision machine and remains largely untested with the most padded record in mma.

Really though, as long as someone gets the beaten decisively I’ll probably enjoy it.
