Anime and Manga v38

Hey everyone long time, been busy with stuff and things! of course George hates Ippo, like Kishi with Naruto, Itagaki = Sasuke.

I read Dr.stone here and there, the art is nice at least to me and it's the only thing that really makes the manga worth it, the plot started out interesting but feels like it has no where to really go except "hey the world is fixed and everyone is cured" type of deal.

Also this is just a rumor but supposedly Breaker part 3 is supposed to release in May 2018.

Dude you can change your AV. The bet was only for 2 weeks. But you rock if you want.
Don't you dare be pulling my leg! Don't you dare!
Never go into Breaker. But why is the series slow to release?

First off, if you like action, go read it!

The author+artist moved on to do a different series. So, The Breaker was planned to be a three part series with each being longer than the last. And things got away from them and ended up being a lot longer than expected. So they spent a bunch of years doing part 1 and part 2 and then decided to take a break and do something different. That something has been Trinity Wonder, which is alright, but it's no Breaker. Fans of The Breaker have been hoping for a while now that this detour doesn't last too long and they get back to finish part three because there's a lot of good characters and a lot of room for interesting developments still left there.

Just glanced at it. Reminds me of Veritas. I'll give it a go.

Already breezed through King Golf and Ballroom(thanks again for those suggestions).

Hopefully Breaker won't leave me with a bitter taste like Veritas.

The way Ippo is constantly having to bite down on his mouth-guard and eat shots is going to leave him sounding like Ali before he ever fights his friend who's name I can't remember. Now he's getting dropped by short hooks because he's just ape-ing forward without no thinking. That's can tier behavior.

Please feel free to correct me as I haven't read the manga at all except sporadic chapters here and there, but looking at Ippo I'm REALLY getting the feeling that Kamogawa is either a rather mediocre trainer who simply got lucky with finding Takamura before anyone else could or Ippo was never particularly great outside of being a brawler who could hit hard...Or both maybe.

He's the Japanese Edmond.

What I really liked was the full-body emulation. Definitely just a proof-of-concept with how light/flimsy it was, but it's a lot closer in form to sci-fi mechsuits than stuff I've seen in the past. Makes me think of the Gecko from Infinity (which is itself inspired by a lot of Masamune Shirow's stuff):

Coach was definitely lucky to find Takamura before anyone else, but I think it's a combination of both Coach being a rather average trainer and Ippo being a bit of an idiot. If I remember right Ippo is undersized for his weight class and has almost no ability to box on the outside so he's always forced to get inside on his opponents.

Ippo has shown brilliance in the ring before. He schooled Karasawa. Also George loves the whole show him your spirit and heart but it's a little stale.

Ippo at this point should be scary. He just can't cross the line yet.

This latest battle in Food Porn is doing a good job keeping me guessing at who's going to win. Well, not completely: Soma's an obvious lock to win. The other two feel like they could go either way, depending on how the writer wants to stage things later on.

what anime you guys looking forward to this fall? for me the top one is definitely black clover and season 3 of food porn and gintama
