I mean come on, Aljo's title run is just ridiculously lucky lol.

1) Won the title because Petyr Yan had a brain fart and kneed him
2) Beat Yan by split decision (so he could have lost)
3) Fights a one armed fighter
4) Beats Cejudo by split decision (so he could have lost)

Any other champion even have something remotely close to this?

Yes tyron Woodley

-split draw
-split
-worst title fight ever
-1 decisive win

This was sterlings most decisive win he looked good tonight against an old cejudo. No controversy or doubt in my mind sterling won

A win is a win, and he’s cementing himself in the books. ;)

I would argue opposite of lucky. He leaves no doubt that he is same or better against anyone he fights, across 5 rounds. You can see what he and his opponents are capable of and all the adjustments they can (or can’t) make in fights with him. Extremely hard opponents (expect TJ), no doubt that he is on the highest level and for quite some time now. You gotta be hater or delusional to not see how great of a grappler he is. Also very smart with striking.

Aljo is legit and beating the sherbois favorite fighters.

He clearly beat both Yan in the rematch and Cejudo tonight

I dont give a fuck how split the judges are lol

Henry was easily outstruck, and neither guy had a decisive edge in the grappling. 48-47 Sterling, maybe even 49-46

It feels like the division doesn’t have a champion. It’s just an empty spot while Aljo is the side quest that keeps coming up with new ways defy reality and prove luck is real.
