Now i would agree normally

But with conor not even having a legit boxing trainer and still carrying on with the Irish Edmund as his coach

Does this deluded coach really think his hands will be better because he didn't train anything else?

Another "yes-men" scenario

Now I'm not bashing conor

But someone that trained in a legit boxing gym with a legit coach and had more amateur fights than conor has ever had

Conor didn't show much that shows he could be boxing full time and if he comes back to mma and just uses his boxing i see him being way too overconfident and get caught due to the fact he lost the massive size advantage that he had at 145

If ferguson decides to punch on with mcgregor he is getting laid the fuck out in the first. Thats all i have to say on the matter.

Probably, he was training hardcore straight boxing getting ready for Floyd

he has roddy for a striking coach.

you still upset that conor starched a brazilian?

i actually kinda like what conor does with his camp, he sticks with his old coaches even with all his success. I dont subscribe to the thery of going to the major camps will automatically make you better.

With John Kavagth? Or however you spell his name

I don't expect much improvement from before then

Maybe a legit coach but to say he will come in with better hands using the same shitty techniques and the fact it's a mma fight

Nope

I think his jab will be a better weapon and less of a range finder.

How would training boxing not improve your hands?

This Irish Edmond shit is retarded

Seriously, his boxing looked crappy in the Mayweather fight. Any regional boxing champ can KO him in one round

Truth hurts, and deny all you want but having himself as headcoach for the Mayweather fight was beyond hubris

He did wonders for Artem
The dude went a full 5 rounds standing with Cub Swanson.

Kavanagh has a pretty decent record as a coach:

First Irish fighter in UFC
First Irish champion
First fighter to hold two championships at the same time
He's had multiple champions in European promotions
He's got a current top 15 fighter in Gunnar Nelson
Makwan Amirkhani is 3-1 in the UFC with his only loss by split decision.

There's probably more if anybody else wants to add to it.

oh but how's his "head movement, head movement" <45>

been boxing for 10 years, trained with pro boxers.

I was impressed with both of them, so are most people I've trained with and most people with experience In boxing. Most of the community gave him some love.

Credit where It's due, I don't think many of the MMA guys here know enough about boxing to actually give an opinion on It.

The fight with Korean Super was his last hurrah. Cub is a shadow of himself.

Who cares about the European promotions? Gunni is still unconscious from being ponzi schemed, and Makwan's striking is awful he wins with his wrestling and grappling

You were impressed him?

I was slightly
But 80% of his performance was garbage
Gassing in 4 rounds
The only thing that was a highlight from the fight was his switch

I can see people giving him credit for lasting 10 rounds
But then look at the type of fighter he fought
And the fact that the fight was more of a business/entertainment
