On Jon Jones being slimmer and how will it effect his performance fighting DC

Let's remember some of the notable fighters post USADA, that is, let's remember Hector Lombard, Chris Weidman and Jose Aldo. Their physiques remained somewhat the same, but somewhat isn't completely the same and the main trait between the difference was of slimming down, looking not as dried out in the weigh ins(because there was little weight to lose) and muscles less solid or peaking. Sure, their overall figure might look the same in some shots, but then again Overeem and Vitor look their old selves when they post a picture in perfect lighting and angle. Overall they are noticeably slimmer, with muscles, especially the legs, more relaxed.

Let's now remember common trait in their performances now:

Hector Lombard gasses and has a bad time recovering when he gets rocked

Weidman gasses

Jose Aldo was completely gassed in the third round against Holloway and had a hard time mustering the strenght to get out from the bottom

Consider what I wrote before making a judgement of who will win tomorrow night

Yeah because all those guys are exactly like Jon Jones. Definitely going to happen TS for sure

How do you know he is slimmer in a bad way? Less belly fat means he will lose lol.. DC has a spare tire..

Lol i find it funny when TS makes a solid observation of physique's of high level fighters before and after USADA.

And how several fighters have had similar trends, of slimming down and having more cardio issues.

Thank fully shertards do not disappoint.

Rather then counter the argument with opposing facts, like " Hey, Overeem slimed down and his cardio improved, and he's from the same camp as Jones. "

Nope they go full retard and say " Hey, Jon Jones is different because he's Jon Jones " as if they thought TS actually thought Aldo and Jon Jones were the same person.

Weidman, Lombard and Reem never had cardio. Reem's is better now if anything. Holloway ate a lot of shots in the first two rounds to get at Aldo's body. Don't think USADA is what gassed him.

Weidman most definitely had better cardio post-USADA and does not look the same physically. He cut over 30lbs and was walking around alot heavier before and has slimmed down considerably now.

DC is coming in looking MUCH better than previous fight w/ Jones.

Jones looks like if DC kicks him hard in the stomach, it'll go through his back bone.

I'm hedging towards DC after seeing this initial weigh ins.

His strength in the clinch + eyepoke game pretty much won the first fight for Jon. Not sure why he would want to do anything to compromise that strength advantage. It is quite the mystery why he got smaller...

Good argument but here is my rebuke

Overeem wasnt known as Ecoreem before, Ecoreem surfaced when we saw Overeem deploying energy saving movement, coinciding with when he started increasingly slimming down. Ecoreem didn't throw punches, he paced back and forth and picked his shots avoiding any sort of struggle.

See Overeem's performances against Stipe and Werdum. Against Stipe reem was pushed so he had to work and run around, by the end of the round he got gassed and taken down and finished.

Against Werdum was all going fine until he couldn't, because he was tired, keep up his pace, even tho it was meager one, and was looking extremely tired in the 3rd and got caught by Werdum and had a hard time properly getting out when Werdum started pressuring him.

sorry bozo but wideman is now bigger than ever

Picking the much older fatter guy that already lost

Good idea..

Weidman has never had more than 'serviceable' cardio, no difference there.

Romero beats Weidman (and any other middleweight in the history of the sport) more times than he loses.

Rockhold and Weidman had a competitive fight, and Luke pulled off a big finish, which is common for him.

Nothing to see here.

Please. Guy went from looking like a LHW and going 5 rounds with a prime Machida to gassing in the 2nd vs Rockhold and Mousasi and barely getting a win vs a 5'2 fat WW.

Weidman is one of the most obvious post USADA cases.

Compared to a habitual liar, addict & PED user who's had a long layoff due to the aforementioned?

And has to fight clean?

Yes.

P.s. What are the odds Jon pisses hot again?

weidman definitely had way better cardio before, not that it was great but he wouldn't ever be gassed in 1.5 round against mousasi

Picking the guy that has been active and dominant for the past 3 years over the guy who has been on the bench and if finishing a suspension for steroids.

I find it crazy how fans actually believe fighters who take banned substances do so for shits and giggles and that it has nothing to do with improving their performance.

guess what?? if your gonna take something that comes with the risk of suspension, fined, and losing millions upon millions of dollars, it's because of the benefits that come with the risk.

And don't give me the bullshit lie that he used it because he wanted his penis to be a little bit harder excuse.

Jon hasn't got the dad bod though. He has abs. He looks to be in good condition.
