60 million world wide practice boxing.

Less than million do MMA.

Do the math.

oh boy ... this is the wrong place^^ its like saying "playing computer games is easy as fuck" in a gaming forum :D ...

Checks join date....

You do know that countries like China (with a third of the world's population) literally have a couple of billion people that practice martial arts of some form or another (even if its only Tai Chi)? Or the Phillipines where Escrima is common, or Thailand where Muai Thai is the national sport? I could continue...

There are far more martial arts practitioners in the world then there are those that "spar".... Yes there are more professional boxers than there are professional martial artists but given boxing has been around professionally since the 1700's while martial arts competition has really only become mainstream since the 1990's, it's understandable.

Being number 1 in boxing is equivalent to playing football for a Scottish 2nd division team. Everyone plays football. Only 60 million do boxing...

The heavyweight division in boxing has been widely regarded as being pretty weak with little strength depth over recent years, yet it still has almost three times as many registered pros as the entire UFC roster.

MMA is still well behind other sports when it comes to depth and talent levels. Not hating, just a fact.

Yeah, when you consider how many people compete in a sport it puts things into great perspective. Like Muhammad Ali is considered a once in a life-time athlete. But in reality, if he played cricket or soccer he isn't even top 1000.

Where did you get your numbers?? Lol.

In the us you have far more practicing wrestling and tma than boxing. It's true in most places. I have far more mma gyms to choose from than boxing.

Looks like those other guys picked the wrong sport then.

There's no equivalency. Your conclusion makes no sense.

It's the same as being a wwe clown

They're different sports. Who gives a shit?

Real fight:
GSP>>>>>Klitschko
J. Hendriks(if hè makes weight)>>>>A. Joshua

I've read 5 threads this morning. This one is the worst. 1 out 5 threads sucks really bad. Do the math.
