These are developing markets and their pushes are also racially motivated. Look at the likes of Mark Munoz being given so many huge fights in the past. These guys were never gifted title shots. People have their preferences, and there is nothing necessarily hateful about them. If you walk into a bar and prefer the white girl over the Asian girl, no one is going to jump out and call you a racist, nor should they.
