GSP quitted from the sport after Hendricks (almost) beat him, when Lawler seemed like a scary beast, when guys like Woodley and Thompson were raising and stacking the WW division. Then, with Hendricks past his prime, with Lawler done by Woodley, he comes back.

Same way, Conor wants nothing about Khabib. Knows being the champ means more money everywhere, he decides to dodge the LW title defender and go the easy overrated, overpaid path with Mayweather.

Except beating Mayweather in boxing is 100x harder than beating Khabib in MMA.

Conor took 2 UFC belts then went on to the biggest challenge of them all while GSP cowered at WW for years with excuses why he would never fight at MW or catchweight vs. Silva, then quit because UFC wouldn't pay him half what they're paying Conor. Your logic is flawed as F.

You are right in that context, although it is unfair to GSP since he actually defended his belt for over a decade

GSP got his skull beat up in his last fight.

McLoudMouth hardly broke a sweat in his last fight.

Except for the part where Conor, in his last fight, made the champion look like he had absolutely no business being in the cage with him.

Compared to GSP who knew he had just lost the fight.

I'm not sure if it's harder for Conor to beat a retired Mayweather than todays Khabib. What i'm sure is way easier for Conor to get a excuse after losing to Mayweather than losing his belt, in his sport, in a dominant, exposing fashion.

McGregor is clearly making his own path by taking bigger paydays each bout. I doubt anyone ever exponentially increased their pocket money as quick as him in UFC, not counting the former owners.

GSP was champion for like 7 years
Conor hasn't even been fighting for 7 years

Not at all GSP actually defended his belt and owned the division for years. This is why GSP is considered to be one of the greatest fighters ever.

Oh please, GSP was going to announce his retirement regardless of how the fight went. He wanted a break, and he wanted the sport to clean up.

Which is nothing like Conor, who couldn't care about anything except the size of his cheque

And never defending his title... oh wait

Your nuthugging and adoration of another man is disturbing

You forget that a pillow fisted .500 fighter choked him out and took him to the brink in the rematch.
