The big news on Monday was BJ Penn being pulled from UFC 199 due to him admitting to USADA about IV use back in March. BJ's weight management specialist Lou Giordano discusses and clarifies what happened, as well as what didn't happen.

This guy sounds like a more sophisticated Dana White.

TS, sort your shit out..

Does he actually address the core question: WHY BJ needed the IV in the first place?

BJ publically stated using IV to rehydrate is for wimps, now this guy is saying IV ban is crazy?

The IV wasn't the true issue, it was the amount used. You can only use 50 ML per 6 hours. He didn't really get into why because he was working with Jon Jones at the time, the strange thing about it is that if BJ said nothing to USADA, he would be fighting next weekend, because he didn't test positive for anything.

So he really didn't answer anything? (I can't see the vid here at work). I mean, we already knew about the 50 ml limited, that's not news.
Sounds similar to Penn's "explanation".

So why couldn't he just say "Yea, I used an IV but prove I used more than 50 ml per 6 hours"? Also, what was it for? I couldn't stand to listen to the whole thing. Cliffs??

What does working with Jon Jones have to do with not addressing why BJ was using an IV?

Well of course he wont test positive, he had an IV. Thats the point, they flush everything out so you dont test positive :D

Just means he wasn't working with Penn at the time he took the IV.

Why isn't Ronda's BF on that list?

Also when/if Ronda comes back her weight management specialist would for sure top that list.

Fixed. Maybe you don't really worry about dying in two of those jobs, but you probably wish to die. Daily.

Wait, so what the fuck was the point of this interview?
