News 27-year-old Heavyweight Ardi Ndembo passed away after being in coma following KO-loss

Boxing is an incredibly dangerous sport, far more so then MMA.
Another sad loss, hopefully more money comes into MMA so less people have to take the boxing path.

This is why douchebags like Wilder and Bill Haney have no right to talk about killing a man in the ring.

This shit is real fucking life. There are consequences. Rest well to this warrior and peace to his family and loved ones.
A lot of it is just for theatrics. Wilder was on camera crying when talking about Colon so I doubt he really means that he wants someone to die in the ring..

This will be interesting to see if there is any fallout from this. This happened in Team Combat which is just starting its 2nd year. They certainly don't need this. He was apparently knocked out at least 3 times in the couple months before this. But he was gym hopping so not everybody was aware of it. But obviously that was a big warning sign of his not being fit to compete. Should they have done more due diligence?

I knew Ardi a little from my time with the team. Really nice gy and it is just terrible it happened

I don't think that Wilder wants to kill someone. He just needs next paycheck.

Boxing is risky stuff. Even in ams.
One guy had scheduled am fight vs Justin ( I will not post surname )....he died in hospital after this bout. Commission and forensic specialists didn't had found any violations. Justin wasn't happy....normal casual lad. Catched opponent with counter stuff...normal video, nothing special and all according to rules. Guy died in hospital.
