There were no easy shots against the Knicks. It was a battle of attrition every game. The tougher team won, not exactly the most skilled. If you are old enough, you know that. It was physical defense like Lebron probably has never gone up against.
Ewing was a great player. And ask Lebron how great Pat Riley is.
Exactly. It was a different game in the 90s. Imagine LeBron not having a team full of shooters spreading the floor. Imagine him having to get passed Starks only to be met by Ewing, Oakley, and Mason with no where to kick it out to. You're going to see that fg% drop a few ticks as well as those rpg and apg numbers. LeBron has always struggled with finishing through contact and never developed his post/mid range game. Those are the two things he would need to beat the Knicks back then.
Of course if you transplanted the Knicks into 2018 and forced them to spread the floor and guard the 3ball LeBron would have a field day. But the again so would Jordan.
