What makes sense for the UFC is profit. IF there was no other fight that would bring in a bigger payday for them of course they'd make the fight. They aren't gonna wait for some mystical 500 milllion payday PPV if they can get a 100 million right now. One in the hand is worth two in the bush after all.

Those were ESTIMATES of world wide PPV sales. Outside of NA, PPVs cost fuck all. Also only one of Conors MMA fights has been estimated over 1.5 million world wide. The cable company also takes half of everything sold. The UFC is not Boxing. They wont pay Conor over half the profits
