They went even farther than that. Remember when the immigration bill got killed by GOP and their reason was “why do you need Congress? Biden should just sign an executive order, like a king!” What a difference a few years makes: when Obama made his “pen and phone” comment, they shit a kitten.

I have a degree in political science. I'm pretty confident my understanding of fascism is 1000x that of yours. Every conservative I've ever talked to on the subject just seems to think that fascism and authoritarianism are interchangeable synonyms - which isn't a definition supported by any academic, any scholarship, or any historical account, anywhere on the planet. You probably haven't picked a book up in 25 years so excuse me if I don't give a fuck what you think fascism is

The article says the neighbors had an anti-Trump sign. That's not something that's personally "trolling" the Alitos, unless they're a bunch of rabid MAGA Hatters, who can't handle something as innocuous as that without some knee-jerk juvenile retaliation; and if that's the case, it's further evidence that Alito is completely unfit to be on the SC.
