Barberino doesn't deserve a fight with Perry right off the bat. He needs to beat a few bums to prove himself. Meanwhile, Mike is on his way to fight for a title soon.

They are just looking for big names. I don't even think Perry has fought anyone ranked in BKFC yet.

Does BKFC even have rankings? They have the "Depth" of the UFC's Women's FW division.

Robbie Lawler if he isn't under UFC contract. They might let him out since he is old. I don't believe Perry is the best guy but he is very promotable. They really don't have to match him with the best guys.

Woodley is another available fighter but he is expensive. Another cheap option like Barberena is Fialho. Pretty much you just need a big name or a bag that can take a beating.

2024 Thiago Alves is arguably worse than Barberena, the man went out losing to Laureano Staropoli.

Imo they should give Bryan a fight against someone else first to see where he's at, and to get in actual shape. Him as a MW was just depressing to watch.

I don't disagree, but Thiago Alvez is a solid name for a Bareknuckle fight. There's not many guys with that type of name recognition willing to do it.

Bringing in Barberena makes sense though, because you never know.... Look at Perry after all. Legit from zero to hero.
