said from the get-go the retirement tweet from McGregor and subsequent withdrawl from 200 was part of a bigger plan ..

some thoughts from Stann re: Conor ..

"You've got a lot of other things going on in MMA. You've got lots of guys putting forth great performances and Conor's going to do the things necessary to keep his name in the headlines. to keep people talking about him, to sell his product."

"Well, I'm not on the inside track every single day, but I know enough and have a good enough relationship with Joe Silva, Sean Shelby and some of the executives over there that this is something they deal with every day, guys."

"Conor's more high profile, he's got the ability to break the internet, but you're dealing with fighters, you're dealing with athletes that are impulsive, that are emotional, that are insensitive, that are aggressive. These things happen and all this did was with whatever product they're selling with him on it, it's got them more buys."

"So if anything, I'd imagine Zuffa headquarters are smiling ear-to-ear because of this tweet and how many people are talking about Conor McGregor."

and the latest tweet is all part of the zuffa conor game ..

Ka-ching.

They are both greedy and part of the same cloth.

They did plan this? No fucking way did they plan it.

Did it all workout for Zuffa in the end...yes...all this commotion helped zuffa.

stann appears to agree with you, I, however, think anything is possible in combat sports, cuz, yah, greed breeds all kinds of possible scenarios.

And here I was, under the impression that Conor only was a couple of months away from bringing down Zuffa and start his own promotion.

Wow did Zuffa give in and promise him 4 peanuts instead 3 as pay for him generating 100 plus million dollars for those vampires?

That ''retirement'' statement by Conor created more buzz than any press conference could of.

Brilliant, really....
