That's me I guess....
I can smell the jalapeños and refried beans through the computer screen.

Of course it makes sense. It's like fighting the school bully every day, even though he's bigger, instead of just letting him rob your lunch money. Here we have who would be considered the Principal in that case charging you mob style protection money, so maybe it's an uphill battle, but somehow if it was America under attack I think you'd want to fight. I don't think you'd appreciate your allies telling you to surrender what has up to this point been a pretty evenly matched fight. At the cost of lives? It's been 4 years. You can argue payback from Ukraine but indefinite draining of Russian resources through cost of populations that have no choice doesn't make sense.
So to put it bluntly, Ukraine are now just a lapdog and being taking for a ride from both sides.
Woah...I'm a coonass bud... believe you are smelling thatI can smell the jalapeños and refried beans through the computer screen.
fuck that does sound goodI can smell the jalapeños and refried beans through the computer screen.

His point was for the purpose of draining money and weakening Russia for our overall global plan. Nothing for Ukraine. It makes sense for a time but this is a peace deal. Ukraine is open as is Russia. Let's see.Of course it makes sense. It's like fighting the school bully every day, even though he's bigger, instead of just letting him rob your lunch money. It makes a big difference if we're just giving aid and not actually sending our soldiers to war. I mean you can complain about not wanting to spend any money but to use the excuse that Ukrainians are dying to not help them seems like Russian propaganda. Especially if it's surplus equipment we're sending, not actual dollars, that's weakening the military of one of our most dangerous adversaries. So it doesn't matter if it's not American lives? The rest just seems trolling...
He was advocating sending troops. But noone is. If both sides are willing to come to the table fine. But to act like it's just a political move not so much. Old equipment just means an excuse to increase the military budget again. Yes it helps get rid of stock but also means we put more into replenishment which is why arms deals make money for someone. It makes a big difference if we're just giving aid and not actually sending our soldiers to war. He just removed protections, Biden gave I believe Venezuelans, so he can deport them.
It's not just the illegals he's after, and it's literally what he described as a Gold Card, like a Green Card + he stated that would cost $5 million to buy you instant citizenship.

And damn you just pop up with an 03 join date and a handful of posts haha. Anyway... I'm not advocating Russia taking Ukraine.Ukrainian people would benefit as well as they would then be able to live under a democracy rather than the communist authoritarian autocracy Russia has. This was already mentioned in my post #474
Damn you’re slow
Well it looks like Trump is going to stop any aid to them but we'll have to wait to see if he drops the Russian sanctions as well. We'll see how much support the EU will need to give but I think they believe it's in their long term interests to nip Putin's expansionist dreams in the bud.Not really given Ukraine has backing from a way bigger bully
There's a tendency to over-complicate the issue. Putin is an unhinged, evil wannabe conqueror who has set his sights on Ukraine. Ukraine resists. The rest of the world can either support Ukraine, or let Putin have his way. Which do you prefer? At the cost of lives? It's been 4 years. Bigger as in richer, or bigger as in more aggressive? Not really given Ukraine has backing from a way bigger bully
Stop learning everything through memes and twitter. For instance, look at this article listed in your meme:A mobster move? Hilarious considering what Ukraine was considered before this started.
Its Perfect for the country you fucking lefties labeled to the most corrupt country in Europe not long ago. Ukraine was an ATM for US Politicians... and who knows how many EU Politicians.
How quickly you forget...

Now they're just innocent Cinderella in your eyes. Beacon's of freedom and democracy. What a fucking joke.
Zelensky is just pissed because Ukraine paid for US cooperation/protection under the table through bribes to half of the Swamp in DC.
Fuck em... And fuck Russia. The US and the EU played stupid games in Ukraine for a few decades. No need for the US to hemorrhage money into Ukraine for a few more years.,.. and maybe a hundred thousand or more lives.
No one is going to be happy with the settlements deals when this is finally resolved. Which means its was a good deal for all involved. Ukraine is never getting everything back... It sucks. But Ukraine isn't worth going all in against Russia and risking massive escalation.
Anything that ends this god forsaken mess quickly is worth pursuing.

Im not saying dont support Ukraine. Reality is Russia has struggled with Ukraine. They are far from the powerhouse. Both sides seem open to peace. Let it ride. They’re going to try and take all of Ukraine when they can. They’ll use this ceasefire as a means to re-arm and regroup their men then take more.
Did they stop after they annexed Crimea?
There’s a reason Sweden and Finland joined NATO. Russia intelligence communications are compromised and the intel shows that they plan on hoping to seize more than just Ukraine if they can.
Putin or whomever is at the helm of the Russian oligarchs will wipe their ass with whatever peace treaty just as they did with one that said they would never invade Ukraine if they gave up their nuclear weapons.
This isn’t ending anytime soon.
I have never advocated for abandoning Ukraine. But I do think peace should be sought if the sides are open. There's a tendency to over-complicate the issue.
