Zabit Magomedsharipov hype is laughable

Only one of his opponents have wikipedia page (Kyle Bochniak). Also all of his finishes against low tier opponents in UFC has happened in later rounds. Hes not even dominant against low tier guys.
What is laughable, is your thread. His "hype" is based on his skills not the people who he beat. All the good guys are afraid of him, just like they were with Khabib. Was Khabib's hype laughable too ?

He's got all the top fighters who have seen him train fooled ...but not random dweebs on sherdog.

Is that how we rate fighters now if they have a Wikipedia page and not what they do in the cage? Zabit is ranked 15th what tier level fighters do you expect him to face? From what I've seen he's looked athletic, creative, & dangerous which all get positive checks in my fight book I could care less if he or his opponents don't have a wiki page...

Still trying to pronounce his name.

Imagine if somehow UFC put on Nurmagomedov vs Magomedsharipov. How would they fit the names on the poster?

If top 15 fighters would stop ducking him he'd have fought one. Looks like they're more scared of him than your bad ass self TS

Hopefully by surrounding the names with lots of birds

Yeah because guys who watch him train day in and day out like Mark Henry and Frankie Edgar who say he's the greatest talent they've ever trained with is just hype. Three performance bonuses in his first three UFC fights is just hype.

Beat no one
Big hype
Other oppos supposedly ducking him

Damn, all we need now is a few injury and weight misses an we got the next Khabib.

Bu bu but hes flashy and Russian
Future world champs dont go life and death with bochniak

Then claim a broken hand
(Which was BS)
Doing what he's doing at 40 would be even more amazing. Also, idk why you think he was faking a broken hand. It is possible to fracture a bone and it will feel like a major break. You can go re watch the fight and see he only throws his right hand a few times throughout the entirety of the fight. What would the advantage be to pretending to break your hand and not using it during the fight? Don't be retarded man. Also, he didn't really go "life and death" with bochniak, whatever tf that means. He had a pretty dominant performance up until the final exchange where bochniak started making faces and everybody thought he was back in the fight. Again, I don't think zabit even was content with his performance but when you can't use your dominant hand, the majority of fighters are fucked.
Plus he's literally 40 year old

I feel like you must actully be I
I'll keep this simple for the comedy factor and I can't be arsed debating with you in a thread where I'm clearly trying to rustle the weirdest fucking hype train I've seen in years

Darren Till isn't very good

Cowboy is at the end of his career
I feel like you must actually be Idubz. Why do you have a problem with every young up and comer? Is there any hyped fighter you are a fan of? I feel like you're stuck in the past. You still watching ppv's from 2008 back in the good ol' days?

There are many factors that distinguish Zabit from other hype trains. He's had bonuses in every fight he's been in. He has shown the ability to be as unpredictable on the feet as anybody else while having solid fundamentals. The best part of that showtime kick highlight is not the actual kick itself, but when he rips a quick lead uppercut and then slips santiago's hook, then circles out and starts a combo with a hook to the body then a heel kick followed by the showtime kick. Then he gets overhooks and lays some solid bones-esque elbows.

He showcased his ground game against moares and basically had control for the entirety of the fight. Usually hype trains are specialists. Someone like darren till or Yair who are dedicated strikers attract attention with their unorthodox style but often there are questions unanswered about other facets of their game. Zabit has shown to look as comfortable on the ground as he does on the feet, which is crazy.

Zabit has also gotten a lot of respect from the community. I'm sure most of us have seen that video with eddie alvarez talking about how impressed everyone at mark henry's is with him. And c'mon, if fucking Cormier is hyping a guy's skills up, he's most likely the real deal.

This should be an awesome thread to save for future bumps.

Kung Fu Lincoln is fun to watch. Bunch of Sir Buzzkillingtons in here.

He looks very raw to me. I think he is skilled and talented, but I will refrain from any hype for now.

Your blinding love for Coner and subsequent dislike or Khabib is blinding you

Honestly, I don't care if he was 1-0. He exciting to watch with super creative strikes and that's what the fans care about. He's only going to get better too. The UFC desperately needs more fighters like him.

Edit: I don't think I was clear when I said that so I will say it again...

The UFC desperately needs more fighters like Zabit Magomedsharipov.
