When did Zabit talk to Dana? Was this recently?

Anyways I'm really looking forward to his return. IMO he's the most entertaining fighter in the UFC. Elite striker, elite grappler, it's just a damn shame he has a mid gas tank and is only entertaining for 3 rounds.

Hopefully the procedure he underwent helped him with his lung problems and he comes back with a better gas tank. If his cardio has in fact improved, he will be the FW champ. Easy.
 
Nice. Have him whoop Yairs ass once and for all and fight for the title. I'm excited to see how he'll look after the lay-off and what apperantly was a sucessful surgery to fix his cardio issues.

Zabits been traneing UFC for past few months. He's coming back for sure, think we will see him fight this year for sure.

And apparently his shitty cardio was because of some lung/rib issue that hes fixed now. Think he will come back strong and become an instant contender

Yeah, he'll be back 100%.
I'm glad age was on his side when he decided to undergo the procedure to address his lung issues.
He's still only 30 (same age as Max and Ortega).
 
They should give him volkanovski but not sure he can get ready in time..

That would be a crazy fight and i still think Volkanovski will win as zabit has been away for sometime but as a fight fan that would be a legendary match-up despite volkanovski being the favourite and at this point his the favourite against pretty much anyone considering how he beat the guy who beat Zombie..

I am also unsure if zabit is still as lethal and flashy as he use to be.. Or is he even in his prime still? To many unanswered questions but still won't mind that match-up or even a holloway fight

My expectations are very low but it would be nice to see him healthy and fighting again.

This was about 9 months ago. He met with the UFC, right before going back to have surgery. The surgery was postponed due to possible complications.

Looks like he’s back in business and conditioning.

It’s probably wishful thinking but the UFC asking if he can possibly act as a replacement for Korean Zombie if he gets injured doesn’t seem too out of the realm of scenarios if he’s healthy.

It’s a chance that I doubt Zabit would say no to.
