I always considered him a big MW, this cut is gonna be brutal. I have no idea why he thinks this is a good idea.

Yea now you said that I remember. After the UFC released him. Still, I think it's a bad decision. He's getting older and moving up and own in weight so much can't be healthy. I really don't get why he doesn't fight at MW. It's definitely not easier competition at WW.

He showed up on a moments notice to fight OSP. I think he just fought at his walking weight, so he shouldn't have an issue making 170 again, like he has done several times.

He probably likes having a bigger weight advantage, it lends itself well to his style especially with him getting older. Sure switching weight classes a bunch fucks your body up but so does fighting in general. I think he'd have an easier time cracking the top 15 at WW atm.
